m2 = 100 g = 0.1kg

m3 = 50 g = 0.0.05 kg

Consider the following free body diagrams:








for FBD-1, 2 and 3

0.5gT1=0.5a(1)

T1T2=0.1a(2)

T20.05g=(0.05)a(3)
adding above eq. we get

a=(0.5g0.05g)0.65

a=6.92msec2


acceleration of 500g body would be downward with 6.92 m/sec2
