Compute the value of $26.3 \div 1000$ .
We know that when a decimal is divided by $1000$ , the decimal point is moved to the left side by three place. That is
$26.3 \div 1000 = \frac{26.3}{1000}$
$= 0.0263$
Hence the value of $26.3 \div 1000$ is $0.0263$ .
