Find. $4 \frac{3}{4} \div 1 \frac{1}{4}$
First, $1 \frac{1}{4} = \frac{5}{4}$ then the reciprocal of $\frac{5}{4} = \frac{4}{5}$
$4 \frac{3}{4} \div 1 \frac{1}{4} = \frac{19}{4} \div \frac{5}{4} = \frac{19}{4} \times \frac{4}{5} = \frac{19 \times 4}{4 \times 5} = \frac{19}{5} ∴ 4 \frac{3}{4} \div 1 \frac{1}{4} = \frac{19}{5}$
