Dear Student,
Step 1:
To get "n" rational numbers between two numbers, we must make their denominator same by using LCM of the two denominator.
Since, 3 and 4, both have same denominators

Step 2:
After Step 1, we multiply and divide both the numbers by 'n+1'

Ist number =a×n+1n+1= 3×22=62.......n=1 2nd number =b×n+1n+1= 4×22=82.......n=1 Thus, 1 rational number between 3 and 4 is 72
