$U s i n g t h e i d e n t i t i e s (a)^{2} - 2 \times a \times b + (b)^{2}$ = $(a - b)^{2} a n d (a)^{2} + 2 \times a \times b + (b)^{2}$ = $(a + b)^{2}$

$i .) (5 x - 2)^{2} = 25 x^{2} + 4 - 20 x$ is correct and there is no error.

$i i .) (3 x + 2)^{2} = 3 x^{2} + 6 x + 4$ is wrong .

The correct equation is
$(3 x + 2)^{2} = 9 x^{2} + 12 x + 4$ .
