Find and correct errors in the given statement.

An equation is a mathematical expression of equality between two algebraic expressions that have equal values.

It is given that, $x(3x+2)=3x^2+2$

On solving L.H.S, we get,

$$\begin{gathered} =x(3x+2) \\ =x\left(3x\right)+x\left(2\right) \\ =3x^2+2x \end{gathered}$$

But, it is given that R.H.S $=3x^2+2$

Thus, L.H .S.$\ne$ R.H.S.

So, for correct statement we need to replace $2$ with $2x$ in RHS

Hence, the correct statement is $\mathit{x}\mathbf{(}\mathbf{3}\mathit{x}\mathbf{+}\mathbf{2}\mathbf{)}\mathbf{}\mathbf{=}\mathbf{}\mathbf{3}{\mathit{x}}^{\mathbf{2}}\mathbf{+}\mathbf{2}\mathit{x}$.
