i.)Substituting x= -4 in x2+6x+4 gives (4)2;+ 6(-4) + 4 = 16-24+4 = -4

ii.) 3x/(3x+2) = ½

i.)True. There is no error. Substituting x= -4 in x2+6x+4 gives (4)2+ 6(-4) + 4 = 16-24+4 = -4

ii.) 3x/(3x+2) = ½ is not correct.

3x in numerator and denominator will not cancel out. So, we need the value of x to get the value of the expression.
