Solution

Find and correct errors in the given statement.

An equation is a mathematical expression of equality between two algebraic expressions that have equal values.

Given, 34x+3=14x

In the given expression, L.H.S =34x+3,

Solving it further is not possible as the expression is in it's simplest form and also value of x is not known.

But, it is given that R.H.S =14x

Thus, L.H.S R.H.S

So,for correct statement we need to replace 14x with 33+4xin RHS.

Hence, the correct statement is 34x+3=34x+3.
