Part (a)
Given fractions are 96 and 59
we have:
9×9 = 81 (Cross multiplication)
and 6×5 = 30
Now, 9 ×9 6×5
Thus, 9659.

Part (b)

Given Fractions are 45 and <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--> 1620
Now, we have
4 × 20 = 80 (Cross multiplication)
and 5 × 16 =80
Now, 4 ×20 = 5 × 16
Thus, 45 = 1620
