Finding the equivalent rational number

If both numerator and denominator of a rational number are either multiplied or divided by the same non zero number , we get an equivalent rational number.

2-7=2×2-7×2=4-142-7=2×3-7×3=6-212-7=2×4-7×4=8-282-7=2×5-7×5=10-352-7=2×6-7×6=12-42

So, five rational numbers equivalent to 2-7 are 4-14,6-21,8-28,10-35 and 12-42.
