Find out relation between $I_1$ and $I_2$. Where $I_1$ and $I_2$ moment of inertia of a rigid body mass m about an axis as shown in the figure.

$I_1$ and $I_2$ are two are at a distance $a$ and $b$ from COM.

Let $I$ be the moment of inertia of a axis passing through it COM.

So,According to parallel axis theorem.

$I_1=I+M{a}^2$

$I^2=I+M{b}^2$

And,

$I_1-I_2=M(a^2-b^2)$
