The chemically non-reactive gases are called inert gases
Examples:
Application of inert gases:
Some Food items are packed with inert gases to prevent the oxidation of food from oxygen present in the air.
Historical documents are preserved using inert gases to prevent degradation. e.g. Original American Constitution documents are preserved in humidified Argon.
Inert gases are used in Gas Metal Arc welding.
Helium being lighter than air is used in balloons and airships. It is also used in inflating aeroplane tyres.
Argon is used in light bulbs, it is also used in 3-D printing, etc.
