Find out the difficulties faced by the people of the polar region due to extreme climatic conditions and how they are able to survive even in such adverse conditions?i

a. Life in the Polar regions is extremely harsh making it difficult for people to live there as it is difficult for them to move during snow storms and or winters.
b. In Arctic region we still, have native Arctic population, but Antarctica has no permanent inhabitants.
c. People there are largely dependent on hunting, fishing and have adapted themselves accordingly. Also they have to store food , firewood to survive in the frigid climate.
d. People in the Arctic region survive their by adapting themselves, they wear warm clothing , create warm dwellings, stay in igloos.
e. With global warning , there has been further change in their method of living, they are involved in oil exploration, created pipelines which has modified their traditional way of living.
f. There is on the other hand no permanent natives living in Antarctic , because of extreme climatic conditions
g. The region has penguins, seals etc.
