The correct option is C 1200 km
Distance between C and D in the map = 8 cm
Since the distance between A and B is 3 times the distance between C and D in actuality, it will be the same in the map also.
So, distance between A and B = 3 × 8 = 24 cm

Since the scale used in the map is 1 cm : 50 km,

Actual distance between A and B = 24 × 50 = 1200 km
