The correct option is B (A) Part A of the sentence contains the error as "they did not came out victorious..." is grammatically incorrect. It is a general rule that if a sentence is written in past tense, there should be only one verb in the past form and the related verb should be in present form. So when you use the auxiliary verb in the past tense (did), the main verb remains in it's original form (come).
"They did not come out victorious....." is the correct structure of the sentence.
