Part A of the sentence is incorrect as 'almost' and 'quite' are contradicting in their meanings. 'Quite' means to a certain or fairly significant extent or degree and 'almost' means not quite or nearly. For the sentence to be completely correct in its meaning 'almost' has to be stricken off.
