The correct option is B 24 cm
Given,
Length of the each side of the triangle = 4 cm
Length of side of the square = 4 cm

Perimeter of the triagle
= 4 cm + 4 cm + 4 cm
= 12 cm
Perimeter of the Square
= 4 x 4 cm
= 16 cm

Now, one side of the triangle and the square is common so, we need to subtract it from the total perimeter

Total perimeter of the figure
= Perimeter of the triangle + perimeter of the square - length of common side
= 12 cm + 16 cm - 4 cm
= 24 cm
