$\frac{1}{2},\frac{1}{4},\frac{1}{6},\frac{1}{8},......$

Given,

$\frac{1}{4}-\frac{1}{2}=-\frac{1}{4}$

$\frac{1}{6}-\frac{1}{4}=-\frac{1}{12}$

The common difference does not remain the same, therefore the given sequence is not in A.P.
