Start with the first group i.e. 2 here. Find a square which is smaller than or equal to 2.
12=1,22=4 hence more than 2

Now, bring the second group down

Write the second term in such a way that term multiplied by the whole number [i.e. 27
× 7 = 189] is less than the present dividend (i.e. 189)
The quotient will be the answer.
