$a=-3,d=a_1-a_1=-\frac{1}{2}-(-3)=\frac{5}{2},n=11$
$a_n=a+(n-1)d$
$a_{11}=-3+(11-1)\times \frac{5}{2}$
$=-3+\left(10\right)\times \frac{5}{2}$
$=-3+25=22$
