the terms are in GP with first term a= 1 and common ratio r=4.

Following the formula of nth term of GP i.e. $a r^{n - 1}$

the nth term of GP = ${1.4}^{n - 1}$ = $4^{n - 1}$

T9= $4^{9 - 1}$

T9= $4^{8}$ = 65,536
