## The correct option is B 1 m/s2The given system can be reframed as shown From constraint condition and using method of intercept we have, ..L1+..L2+..L3+..L4=0 ⇒ −aA−aB−aB+a=0 ⇒ 2aB=a−aA……(1) From FBD of A and B T−5g=5aA……(2) 2T−10 g=10aB……(3) On solving above two equation, we get aA=aB Putting this value in equation (1), we get 3aA=a=3 m/s2 ⇒ aA=1 m/s2 Hence, acceleration of block A is 1 m/s2
