Question

Find the acute angles A and B satisfying
cot(A+B)=1,csc(AB)=2

Open in App
Solution

We have,

cot(A+B)=1 and csc(AB)=2

cot(A+B)=cot45o

A+B=45o......(1)

csc(AB)=2

csc(AB)=csc30o

AB=30o......(2)

On adding equation (1) and (2) to ,we get

2B=75O

B=75o2

B=75o2×π180o

B=5π2×12

B=5π24

Put the value of B in equation (1) and we get

A+B=45o

A+75o2=45o

A=45o75o2

A=90o75o2

A=15o2

A=15o2×π180o

A=π24

Hence, this is the answer.
