Moles of C = given massmolar mass=6012=5 molMoles of CO2=given massmolar mass=24244=5.5 mol
Finding the limiting reagent:
For C=given molesstoichiometric coefficient=51=5 molFor CO2=given molesstoichiometric coefficient=1.51=5.5 mol
So, carbon will be the limiting reagent.
1 mol of carbon produces 2 mol of CO.
5 mol will produce 10 mol of CO.
In the second reaction,
Moles of Ni=Given massMolar mass=234.858.7=4.0 mol

Finding the limiting reagent:
For Ni=given molesstoichiometric coefficient=41=4 mol
