Here, Principal,P = Rs. 4096

Time,t =18 months =112 years

Rate =1212%=252% per annum.

Here, the interest is compounded half yearly.

For half yearly, we have

Rate (compounded half-year) =R=(252÷2)%=254%

n=112×2=3 (As interest is compounded half yearly)

Amount, A =P(1+R100)n

=4096(1+254100)3

=4096(1+25400)3

=4096(1+116)3

=4096×1716×1716×1716

=17×17×17

=4913

Hence, Amount =Rs. 4913
