The correct option is A 60 clockwise

Applying Snell's law at surface AB :

1×sin60=3×sinr1

sin r1=12r1=30

Angle of prism ,A=r1+r2

r2=6030=30

Applying Snell's law at surface AC:

3×sin 30=1×sin e

e=60

Angle of deviation , δ=i+eA

Substituting the data obtained

δ=60+6060

δ=60=60 clockwise.

Hence, option (a) is the correct answer.
