Open in App
Solution

We have, angle is (1/5)th of its complement.
Let the one angle be x.
Then, its complement will be =90°−x.
Given, that x=1/5×(90°−x)
⟹ 5x=90°−x
⟹ 5x+x=90°
⟹ 6x=90°
⟹ x=90°/6
⟹ x=15°.

Therefore, Its complement =90°−x

=90°−15° =75°.

Hence, the angle is 15°.
