Find the angle which is four times its complement.

Open in App
Solution

Finding the angle which is four times its complement.

Suppose the angle be x°.

So, the complement of x=90-x

Assume that the angle is four times greater than its complement,

So,

x=490°-x

x=360°-4x

x+4x=360°

x=72°

Since, the measure of an angle which is 4 times its complement is 72°.
