Solution

The correct option is A 69.7cm2 and 36cm
Given,
AB=8cm and AD=10cm

BD=12cm and CD=13cm

DBC=90

DBC is a right angle .

DC2=DB2+BC2

=>BC2=DC2DB2

=>BC2=132122

=>BC2=169144

=>BC2=25

=>BC=5cm

Area of ABC=12×BD×BC

=12×13×5

=30cm2

In ABD,S=AB+BD+AD2

=8+12+102

=15cm

Area of ABD=S(SAC)(SBD)(SAD)

=15(158)(1512)(1510)

=15(7)(3)(5)

=39.68cm2

Area of Quadrilateral ABCD= Area of ABD+Area of DBC
=(39.68+30)cm2

=69.68cm2

69.7cm2

Perimeter of Quadrilateral ABCD=AB+BC+CD+AD

=(8+5+13+10)cm

=36cm
