In quadrilateral ABCD,
AB = 42 cm, BC = 21 cm, CD = 29 cm
DA = 34 cm, BD = 20 cm


Area of ΔABD,s=a+b+c2s=42+20+342=962=48Area=s(sa)(sb)(sc)=48(4842)(4820)(4834)=48×6×28×14=4×4×3×3×2×2×14×14=4×3×2×14=336cm2
Area of ΔBCD,
s=a+b+c2s=20+21+292=702=35Area=s(sa)(sb)(sc)=35(3520)(3521)(3529)=35×15×14×6=7×5×5×3×3×2×2×7=7×5×3×2=210cm2
Area of quadrilateral ABCD,
= 336+210=546cm2
