semi-perimeter, S=3+4+52=122=6

ar(ABC)=6(63)(64)(65)=6×3×2×1

=36=6cm2

In ACD,

semi-perimeter, S=5+5+42=142=7

Applying Heron's formula : S(Sa)(Sb)(Sc)

ar(ACD)=7(75)(75)(74)=7×2×2×3

=84=221cm2

Area of quadrilateral ABCD=ar(ABC)+ar(ACD)=(6+221)cm2
