Given that:
AC=10cm,DM=3cm,DM=5cm
To find:
Area of the quadrilateral =?
Solution:
Area of the quadrilateral = Area of the ADC+ Area of the ABC
=12×DM×AC+12×DM×AC
=12×3cm×10cm+12×5cm×10cm
=15cm2+25cm2
=40cm2
Area of the quadrilateral =40cm2
Hence, C is the correct option.
