Find the area of a trapezium ABCD in which AB||DC, AB=77cm, BC=25cm, CD=60cm and DA=26cm.

The correct option is B 1644cm2
Construction:
Construct DE such that DE is parallel to BC

Now ,
Area of triangle ADE=s(sa)(sb)(sc)

s=26+25+172

s=34
Now, By putting the values we get,
Area of ADE=34(3425)(3426)(3417)

=34×9×8×17
=204cm2

We also know that,
Area of ADE=12×17×H

By Equating this two areas we get,
12×17×H=204
H=204×217=24cm

Now,
Area of Trapezium ABCD=12×(77+60)×24

=1644cm2
