Area of trapezium = h $\frac{(a+b)}{2}$sq. units

It is given that other parallel side is half of the perpendicular distance between the parallel sides i.e. half of 26 = 13 cm

h = 26 cm, a = 84 cm , b = 13 cm

$\Rightarrow$ $\frac{1}{2}$ $\times$ (84 + 13) $\times$ 26

$\Rightarrow$ $\frac{1}{2}$ $\times$ 97 $\times$ 26 = 1261 $c{m}^2$
