The correct option is A 25.5 $c m^{2}$
Area of figure = Area of rectangle ABCD + Area of rectangle EFGH + Area of rectangle HIJK

= $6 \times 3 + [(2 + 1) \times (3 - 1.5)] \div 2 \times 1.5$

= $18 + [3 \times 1.5] + 3 = 18 + 4.5 + 3 = 25.5 c m^{2}$
