Find the area of pentagon ABCDE shown in figure, if AD=11 cm, AG=6 cm, AF=2 cm, AB=3 cm, CG=6 cm, EF=4 cm

AD=11 cm
AG=6 cm
AF=2 cm
AB=3 cm
CG=6 cm
EF=4 cm

Let us assume
FG=4 cm
& GD=5 cm
Now
Area of fig I=12× (sum of parallelogram sides) ×Lt
=12×(3+6)×6
=12×9×6=27 cm2
Area of fig II=12×base×salt
=12×5×6=15 cm2
Area if III=12×9×4=18 cm2
area of fig IV=12×2×4=4 cm2
Total area of pentagonal ABCDE= Area of (fig I+figII+figIII+figIV)
=(27+15+18+4)cm2
=(42+22)cm2
=54 cm2
