180 sq. units


Area of quadrilateral ABCD can be written as ArΔABD + Ar ΔBCD
Ar ΔABD =12×base×height=12×20×10)+ArΔBCD =12×base×height=12×20×8
Area of quadrilateral = 12×20×10+12×20×8

100+80=180
=180 sq. units
