ArΔABD=12×base×height=12×BD×AE=12×24×10ArΔBCD=12×base×height=12×BD×CF=12×24×8

Area of quadrilateral =(12×24×10)+(12×24×8)=96+120=216

Area of quadrilateral= 216 sq units
