The correct option is C

Let A, B, C, D be the points (-4, 2), (1, -1), (4, 1) and (2, 5) respectively.

Then the area of the quadrilateral ABCD =12(4×12×1+1×14×1+4×52×1+2×2×5×4)
=12(42+1+4+20+4+20)
=492=24.5 squre units.
NOTE: Area of quadrilateral =12(x1y2x2y1)+(x2y3x2y3)+(x3y4x4y3)+(x4y1x1y4))
