$\text{Area}=\frac{1}{2}d(h_1+h_2)$

$=\frac{1}{2}\times 5.5\times (2.5+1.5){\text{cm}}^2$

$=\frac{1}{2}\times 5.5\times 4{\text{cm}}^2$

$=11{\text{cm}}^2.$
