Solution

The correct option is A 55 square inches
Area of the christmas tree = Area of Triangle A + Area of Triangle B + Area of Triangle C + Area of the rectangle

Area of a triangle=12×Base×Height
Area of Triangle A=12×3×4
=6 square inches

Area of Triangle B=12×6×8
=12 square inches

Area of Triangle C=12×12×5
=30 square inches

Area of the rectangle = Length × Width
= 7×1 = 7 square inches

Area of the christmas tree
= 6 + 12 + 30 + 7 = 55 square inches
