In the figure,here are three triangles and one trapezium.

AD=10 cm, BF=5 cm

AG=8 cm, CG=7 cm

AH=6 cm,EH=3 cm

AF=5 cm

Now area of ADE=12×AD×EH=12×10×3 cm2=15 cm2Area of ABF=12×AF×BF=12×5×5=252 cm2=12.5 cm2Area of CDG=12×GD×CG=12[ADAG]×CG

=12(108)×7 cm2=12×2×7=7 cm2Area of trapezium BFGC=12(BF+CG)×FG=12(5+7)×(AGAF)=12×12×(85) cm2=6×3=18 cm2 Area of the figure ABCDE=15+12.5+7+18=52.5 cm2
