Area of rectangle $= l e n g t h \times b r e a d t h$
lets assume,
length $(L) = 2 k m$
breadth $(B) = 3 k m$
$∴$ Area of rectangle $= L \times B$
$= 2 \times 3$
$= 6$ km square
