x+y1 represents the region outside the line x+y=1, ( shaded blue)
Area of region bounded by the curves x2+y21 & x+y1
= area of quadrent area of OAB
=π(1)2412×1×1
=π412
=π24
=1.1424
=0.285unit2.
Hence, the answer is 0.285.
