In right angled triangle ABC Hypotenuse AC =40 cm

One side AB =24 cm

$\therefore BC=\sqrt{A{C}^2-A{B}^2}$

$=\sqrt{{40}^2-{24}^2}=\sqrt{1600-576}$

$=\sqrt{1024}=32cm$

$\therefore$ Area

$=\frac{1}{2}AB\times BC=\frac{1}{2}\times 24\times 32c{m}^2=384c{m}^2$
