Area of the rocket = Area of the 3 triangles + Area of the 2 rectangles

Area of Rectangle A
= 12 × Base × Height
= 12 × 6 × 3
= 9 square units

Area of Triangle B = Area of Triangle C
= 12 × 4 × 3
= 6 square units

Length of Rectangle D = Height of Triangle C + 4 units = 8 units

Area of Rectangle D
= Length × Width
= 8×2
= 16 square units

Area of Rectangle E
= 4×1
= 4 square units

Area of the rocket
