$=\frac{1}{4}\times \frac{22}{7}\times \frac{35}{10}\times \frac{35}{10}$

$=\frac{385}{40}{m}^2=9.625m^2$

(b) Area $=\frac{\pi r^2}{2}$

$=\frac{22}{7}\times \frac{1}{2}\times 7\times 7$

$=77m^2$
