Find the area of the shaded region in figure, where a circular arc of radius 7 cm has been drawn with vertex O of an equilateral $\Delta OAB$ of side 12 cm, as centre.

Area of sector outside triangle
= $\frac{{300}^{\circ }}{{360}^{\circ }}\times \pi \times 7^2$
= 128.3 sq.cm
Area of triangle
= $\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}\times sid{e}^2$
= $\frac{\sqrt{3}}{4}\times {12}^2$
= 62.352 sq.cm
Area of shaded region = 128.3 + 62.352 = 190.68 sq.cm
