The correct option is A 30.96 cm2
Area of all four sectors made by square and circle are equal.
And each sector have an angle of 900
And radius of circle is 122 cm=6 cm

Area of shaded region = Area of square ABCD 4× Area of one sector
Area of shaded region = Area of square ABCD Area of circle with radius 6 cm
=12×12π×62 cm2
=144113.04 cm2
=30.96 cm2
