Given three vertices of a triangle (5,1)(3,5)(5,2) the area is given by the formula
=12[x1(y2y3)+x2(y3y1)+x3(y1y2)]
=12[5(52)+3(2+1)+5(1+5)]
=12[+35+9+20]
=12[29+35]
=642
=32 sq units.
